Hey, I think I missed something here first time round. Two "horror" movie allusions. "Norman's?" As in Norman Bates --Psycho. And "Vacancy," as in the recent Psycho/Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake with Owen Wilson.

@Twelvebit: Funny that you picked up on that...I didn't know there was a remake of TCM with Owen Wilson! Thanks for stopping in & leaving such lovely comments.
I must correct an error. I mixed my Wilsons. "Vacancy" stars Luke, not Owen (my favorite Wilson brother --though I like both). And I was using the term "remake" quite loosely. Vacancy isn't a "remake" like say, the remake of Psycho by Gus Van Zandt. It just has similar plot elements --more like a reinvention or reinterpretation with a tone closer to TCM than Psycho. Generally speaking, I don't watch "remakes." I wouldn't even have watched "Vacancy" if Luke hadn't been in it, and quite frankly, I didn't think it was very good.
